Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of 4CDL — the 4CDL Drivers Club, the driver app, 4cdl.com and our text messages. By creating an account, applying or using the service you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. 4CDL is a service operated by MAX Express INC, 250 McHenry Rd, Buffalo Grove, IL 60089.
1. What 4CDL is
4CDL is a free club for CDL truck drivers. We help you find driving jobs by introducing you to trucking companies that match what you want, and we offer free tools, news, carrier ratings and perks. Membership is free for drivers.
2. Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 18 and able to work in the United States. Give accurate, current information about yourself and your CDL. You sign in with a one-time code sent to your phone; keep it private. One account per person.
3. No guarantee of employment
4CDL is not an employer and does not hire drivers. Companies make their own hiring decisions, pay offers and background checks. We don't guarantee that you will be contacted, interviewed or hired, or any pay, schedule or job terms. Always confirm details directly with the company.
4. Introductions and messages
We share your profile and contact details with a trucking company only with your consent, as described in the Privacy Policy. By opting in you agree to receive calls and texts about driving jobs and your application as described in our SMS Terms. Consent is not a condition of employment. Reply STOP to opt out at any time.
5. Calls through 4CDL
Companies call you through the 4CDL phone line, so your number stays private until you've talked. Calls connected through 4CDL/PPDriver are recorded and transcribed for quality, dispute resolution and job matching; what you say may update your profile (for example your equipment or home state). If you don't want a call recorded, hang up and text us instead.
6. Free tools are informational
The pay calculator, expenses and per diem log, diesel prices, carrier check (FMCSA data), document reminders and news are provided for general information only. They are not legal, tax, financial or safety advice and may be incomplete or out of date. Check official sources and a qualified professional before relying on them. Missing a reminder does not make us responsible for an expired document.
7. Reviews and complaints
You may review companies you actually worked with or were introduced to. Reviews must be honest, based on your own experience and about the company — not about a named individual.
- No false statements, threats, hate speech, personal data of others or spam.
- No reviews of your own company or a competitor, and no paid or traded reviews.
- We may check, edit for privacy, decline or remove any review or complaint. Published complaints never show your name, and the company may reply.
You keep ownership of your content and give 4CDL a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display it in the service.
8. Acceptable use
- Don't impersonate anyone or create fake accounts or applications.
- Don't scrape, copy or resell data from the service, or try to access other people's accounts.
- Don't interfere with the service, test its security without permission or use it for anything illegal.
9. Account termination
You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Privacy. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms, give false information or put other users at risk. Sections that by their nature should survive (for example liability limits) survive termination.
10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent allowed by law.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, 4CDL and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, wages or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US $100.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Cook or Lake County, Illinois, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms. We'll post the new version here with a new effective date; continuing to use the service means you accept it.
